Job summary

Clearsulting is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Analyst to lead SOX engagements, coach junior staff, and manage audit projects with strong attention to risk and controls. The role combines client interaction with hands-on testing and independent issue resolution.

In this hybrid/remote role, you can operate from within the United States with up to 20% travel. A CPA or CIA and SOX knowledge are preferred, and the company emphasizes its inclusive culture and strong core values.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an auditor in external or internal audit.
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and testing methodologies.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SOX compliance engagements, including documentation, testing, and reporting of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coach staff on assessments to evaluate controls, risks, and business processes during audit procedures.
• Manage audit projects with plans, budgets, deliverables, and client communications.
• Coordinate with co-sourced internal audit teams to meet client requirements.
• Own workstreams from planning to completion and resolve issues independently.
