embecta seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to lead audits under IIA standards. The role is hybrid in Parsippany, NJ, with travel up to 25% internationally and domestically.

You will assess internal controls, support SOX compliance, and collaborate with global stakeholders to strengthen financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a CPA/CIA/CFE or progress toward certification, 3+ years of audit experience, and strong communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA, CIA, or CFE certification (or in progress) is required.
• 3+ years of audit experience in a global company; knowledge of SOX/ICFR is essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead audits in alignment with IIA standards and department policies.
• Manage audit workstreams, timelines, and stakeholder requests.
• Perform process walkthroughs, identify risks, and develop risk-based procedures.
• Support SOX compliance, including testing of ICFR controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors to optimize the annual audit process.
• Document findings and management action plans; finalize fieldwork and reports.
