Job summary

Lars Remodeling & Design in San Diego, CA is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to define scope, assess client needs, develop concepts, measure spaces, create plan layouts, and source products and finishes. You will attend client meetings and present designs while coordinating with project teams to meet deadlines.

The role supports the Director of Interior Design with mentoring staff and managing designers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Design and Architecture is required.
Certified Interior Designer is preferred; CA Driver's License is required.
3-5 years of management experience in interior design is required.

Responsibilities

Attend internal and client meetings (discovery, debrief, pre-design, recaps) and meetings with cabinet sign-offs and sites.
Provide clear written updates to the project team after meetings.
Collaborate with clients to achieve goals with high quality and finish.
Analyze client needs and project constraints to meet timelines and budgets.
Mentor Junior Designers and report on staff progress to the Director of Interior Design.
Coordinate with project managers and trade partners for a smooth build process.
Create models/visuals with design software and prepare tile drawings and material orders.
