Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Sr. Project Designer in Oklahoma City to lead interior design efforts on complex projects, developing documents, drawings, and diagrams that meet client objectives.

You will support design deliverables, apply space planning and material knowledge, and execute the full design process from concept to construction, while collaborating with consultants and stakeholders. Strong independent work and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of design experience in commercial real estate.
• Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA accredited institution or equivalent, with Interior Design Certification/ Diploma if needed.
• Space planning experience using Revit.
• Excellent time management, communication and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience coordinating Audio Visual and other specialty consultants.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the interior design effort of special or more complex projects.
• Support Project Designers in quality review of design deliverables.
• Contribute knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, and furnishings.
• Execute full design process from initial sketch through start of construction.
• Work independently or with minor oversight on conceptual design, SD, DD, and CD.
• Produce mood, material and design presentations independently or with minimal supervision.
• Participate in internal and consultant meetings.
• Provide rapid knowledge of FF&E vendors and resources to the team.
