Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Sr. Project Designer in Baton Rouge to lead interior design for complex projects, develop documents, drawings, and diagrams, and guide space planning from concept through construction.

You will support junior designers, coordinate with consultants, and deliver mood and design presentations. The role requires strong Revit skills, CRE sector experience, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• At least four (4) years of design experience within the commercial real estate market.
• Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA-accredited institution or related field with Interior Design Certification/degree.
• Space planning experience using Revit.
• Excellent time management, communication, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the interior design effort of special or more complex projects.
• Support Project Designers in quality review of design deliverables.
• Contribute experience to the interior environment with space planning, finishes, FF&E, lighting, acoustics and wayfinding.
• Execute full design process from initial sketch to construction start.
• Work independently or with oversight on conceptual design, schematic design, DD, space planning and CD.
• Produce mood, material and design presentations independently or with minimal supervision.
• Participate in internal and consultant meetings.
• Provide extensive knowledge of FF&E vendors and resources to the team.
• Be wildly creative and push the boundaries!
