Job summary

DPR Construction in Austin, TX seeks a seasoned Architect/Design Manager to lead architectural teams and deliver high-quality coordinated designs. You will oversee design development, documentation, and cross-disciplinary coordination to meet project goals and codes.

In addition, you will mentor staff, support business development with technical input, and help integrate self-perform work with VDC processes for a coordinated project data environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in architectural design or design management with leadership experience.
• LEED AP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages project assignments, resource allocation, and performance of architectural team members.
• Oversees design development, documentation, and coordination across disciplines.
• Manages architects to ensure drawings, models, and specifications meets quality and compliance requirements.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to resolve design, cost, and constructability issues.
• Implements and enforces architectural design standards, templates, and workflows.
• Supports business development efforts through technical input and proposal development.
• Mentors team members and facilitates professional development and skill growth.
