Job summary

Structure Tone Philadelphia, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a Superintendent to lead interior projects across Philadelphia. You will supervise field crews, coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety guidelines, and ensure schedule and budget adherence on complex builds.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork, with 5+ years in field construction and supervisory exposure. This is a hands-on leadership position with direct client interaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience.
• Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Well-developed communications, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule and maintains reports describing project status.
• Oversees timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
• Reviews project status with the Project Manager and client representatives; on large projects multiple Superintendents may be involved.
• Ensures safety standards are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
• Directs subcontractor activities within ground-up construction projects.
• Analyzes manpower, material, and equipment needs and interfaces requirements with supervising superintendent.
• Implements and enforces field policies, procedures and work rules.
• Prepares reports/forecasts and keeps supervisors informed on progress.
• Coordinates Lock-out Tag-out with utilities subcontractors; manages QA/QC and understands client specs.
