Job summary

Structure Tone Philadelphia, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a Superintendent for interior projects in Philadelphia. You will supervise day-to-day activities, coordinate field operations with subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes schedule discipline, cost awareness, and proactive communication with Project Managers and clients.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field construction experience.
  • Supervisory experience as General Foreman, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain project schedules and reports.
  • Coordinate field activities to ensure timely and cost-effective progress.
  • Review status with Project Manager and client representatives; coordinate with multiple superintendents on large projects.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure tools and equipment are used safely.
  • Direct subcontractor activities on ground-up construction projects.
  • Analyze manpower, materials and equipment, interfacing requirements with supervision.
  • Prepare forecasts and keep supervisors informed of progress.

Structure Tone Philadelphia, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Superintendent for our interior’s projects throughout Philadelphia.The Superintendentis responsible forthetimelyand cost-effectivefieldcoordination, qualitycontrolandday-to-daysupervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Prepares the project schedule,maintainsreports accurately describing project status
  • Responsible for thetimelyand cost-effectivefield coordination, qualitycontrolandday-to-daysupervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects
  • Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. Large projects include multiple Superintendents.
  • Ensuressafety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others whenoperatingtools and equipment.
  • Directs sub-contractor activities within ground up construction projects
  • Analyzesmanpower, material, equipment requirements, andinterfaces the requirements withothers asdesignatedby supervising superintendent.
  • Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules asestablishedby field construction Management
  • Prepares reports and forecasts, asrequired, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities
  • Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition andoperatedsafely.
  • Coordination of Lock-out Tag-out with responsible subcontractors of utilities such as Nitrogen, Vacuum, Compressed Air, RODI, and Steam
  • Manage QA/QC and understanding of client engineering specifications or requirements.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of field experience.
  • Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, FieldEngineeror Assistant Superintendent.
  • Well-developed,communications, interpersonal,organizationalandteamworkskills arerequired.
