Job summary

Abridge is seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer to join our growing team in the United States. You’ll design, build, and scale real-time and batch data integrations with partners and clients, collaborating with engineers, implementation specialists, and product managers.

You’ll work with REST-like APIs, FHIR, OAuth2.0, and mTLS, shaping secure, scalable healthcare integrations. We value autonomy, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset as we expand in a hyper-growth startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years launching enterprise-grade integrations with large organizations.
• 2+ years VistA Integration experience.
• Experience with REST-like APIs (FHIR), OAuth2.0, and mTLS.
• Excitement about working on our tech stack, which include NodeJS/TypeScript and Google Cloud Platform.
• Passionate about working in healthcare integrations.
• Ability to act with autonomy and self-direction while working well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale healthcare integrations using REST-like APIs and FHIR.
• Scale by designing, building, and supporting integrations and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with health system customers to deploy, troubleshoot, and support integrations.
• Enhance existing systems to add new functionality, and to improve performance, stability, quality, and security.
• Advocate for high standards; reduce technical debt and improve code quality.
• Maintain a user-centric mindset and strong empathy for users.
• Communicate effectively within cross-functional product delivery teams.
