Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Healthcare IT or integration engineering.
• Strong expertise in FHIR R4, HL7 v2, REST, JSON and XML.
• Experience designing and implementing healthcare interfaces from concept through production support.

Are you passionate about healthcare interoperability, HL7 integrations, and FHIR-based solutions? Allied Global is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer (HL7/FHIR) to join a growing healthcare technology team supporting large-scale interoperability and data exchange initiatives.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy designing, building, and supporting healthcare integrations while working with modern interoperability standards and API technologies.

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in Healthcare IT, healthcare interoperability, or integration engineering
• Strong expertise in FHIR R4, HL7 v2, REST APIs, JSON, and XML
• Experience designing and implementing healthcare interfaces from concept through production support
• Knowledge of OAuth2, token-based authentication, and API integrations
• Experience with Microsoft SQL
• Familiarity with interface engines such as Rhapsody, Corepoint, or similar
• Experience with FHIR repositories such as HAPI FHIR, Aidbox, Smile CDR, or Firely Server is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
