Job summary

Heidi, a healthcare AI company, is seeking an Implementation Engineer to scale enterprise integrations across customers. You will own feasibility, scoping, and build patterns for reusable connectors, interfacing with EHRs and data systems.

You’ll work with presales, engineering and customer IT, writing designs, validating capabilities, and guiding go-live while ensuring security and privacy requirements are met. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role in New York.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building integrations in healthcare or enterprise SaaS.
• Hands-on HL7v2 and FHIR experience, plus REST APIs and auth.
• Production code in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with EHRs such as Epic, Oracle Health or athenahealth.
• Track record of turning one-off builds into reusable components.

Responsibilities

• Scope feasibility for integration-heavy deals with presales.
• Size and plan work including dependencies, risks, and assumptions.
• Classify requests as reuse, config, custom build, or product change.
• Write technical designs for FDEs, product, and customer IT.
• Build integrations between Heidi and customer systems (HL7, FHIR, REST, SFTP).
• Set up agents and workflows connecting to customer data.
• Own testing, UAT support, and go-live.
• Handover and maintain reusable connectors and runbooks.
