Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a Senior Integration Analyst (GS-1515-14) to support the PPBE process at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The role focuses on integrating modeling, simulation, and analysis to inform senior leadership decisions and Air Force investment planning.

The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strong communication skills and the ability to drive cross-functional analytical efforts across the DAF Analytic Community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field and 24+ coursework hours in math/stats/ops research with calculus
• Six to ten years of experience in analytical roles within the DoD or related field preferred
• Top Secret SCI clearance required and eligible for SAP/PAS
• Excellent written and oral communication with senior leaders
• Ability to lead cross-functional analytic efforts and coordinate with multiple partners

The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time Senior Integration Analyst (GS-1515-14) to work at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.

This position supports the strategic integration of modeling, simulation, and analysis across the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Analytic Community. Your work will directly support the decision-making needs of DAF senior leadership and ensure that the Department of War budget accurately captures critical Air and Space Force investment requirements.

Our Division Plans, Coordinates, Synthesizes, And Communicates Vital Analytic Insights Into The DAF Planning, Programming, Budgeting, And Execution (PPBE) Process. To Accomplish This, We

• Synthesize Insights: We translate complex analyses from SAF/SA, the DAF Analytic Community, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs), and University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs) into actionable budget inputs.
• Collaborate with Key Partners: We coordinate directly with the Secretariat staff and the Office of the Secretary of War on critical analytical issues related to PPBE processes.
• Advise Senior Leadership: We serve as trusted advisors to the highest levels of DAF leadership—including the Secretary, Chief of Staff, and Chief of Space Operations- on future force capabilities and strategic force structure investments.

• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (desired but not required) to leverage data-driven insights and aid in knowledge management

• Collaboration: Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capability to guide cross-functional analytical efforts.

• Salary $143,913 - $187,093
• Travel authorized up to 25%
• This is not a remote position; situational telework may be available as approved by your supervisor

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Six to ten years of experience requested.
• This position meets the professional exemption for the Fair Labor Standards Act (5 CFR 551.206).
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI security clearance and be eligible for special access programs.
• This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random drug testing for drug use.
• Must exhibit a high degree of judgment, resourcefulness, originality, and the ability to foresee the impact of changing technology.
• A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in mathematics, computer science, one of the physical sciences, engineering or a closely-related scientific discipline is highly desired. At least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. Advanced degree(s) are preferred.
