The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time civilian Global Communications Technology Analyst, GG-0343-14 located at the Concepts, Development, and Management Office (CDM) within the National Capital Region, Fairfax, VA.
Salary Range: $143,000 – 163,000
Relocation and recruitment incentives may be available based on eligibility.
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.
Depending on the type of position you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
You will establish and lead the strategic vision for our Global Communications market-based and economic analytic efforts. The ideal candidate will be a "player-coach" who can see the bigger picture—aligning with Department of Air Force (DAF), Secretary of the Air Force’s Office of Competitive Activities (SAF/OC), and OCEA goals. The candidate serves as the leading authority for commercial and economic assessments of DAF equities, and their interaction with the commercial sector, requiring the ability to effectively present findings and solicit action from stakeholders.
Desired Experience: Commercial/Economic Analysis, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, & Geopolitical Analysis, Financial Modeling, Business Intelligence, Project Management, and Contract Management. Expertise in corporate finance, M&A, economic competition, and/or equity research surrounding the Global Communications Market. Must have hands-on skills in business or market analysis, and/or econometrics to drive strategic insights.
