Job summary

RTX in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Program Planning/Scheduling leader to integrate IMS baselines into the program execution plan, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical requirements are fully aligned.

You will create and maintain IMS, perform Schedule Risk Analysis, provide planning metrics, mentor junior planners, and drive EVMS processes across the lifecycle of complex aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of program planning or scheduling experience.
• Experience with IMS creation and evaluation of critical path and workflow.
• Experience with EVMS or similar business process.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Understand the program solution and lead integration into the IMS baseline plan.
• Lead creation and maintenance of compliant IMS per customer requirements.
• Align program plan with IPDS and program life cycle; review IMS planned work.
• Develop and recommend IMS solutions and EVMS artifacts to manage the plan.
• Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis and interpret results to drive mitigations.
• Provide weekly/monthly planning metrics and Earned Value management activities.
• Mentor and train junior planners.
