Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Program Management, Planning & Scheduling professional to join the Program Design & Planning organization in a leadership capacity. You will develop and maintain the Program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring cost, schedule and technical requirements are tightly integrated into the execution plan.

You will lead the creation and maintenance of IMS baselines, review for accuracy, and support the team with Schedule Risk Analysis and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of program planning/scheduling experience.
Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan or similar scheduling software.
Experience developing IMS/EVMS and evaluating critical path/workflow.
Experience with EVMS or equivalent business process.

Responsibilities

Understand program technical and programmatic solution and integrate into the IMS baseline plan.
Lead creation and maintenance of compliant IMS on customer-provided requirements.
Review IMS for accuracy and ensure alignment with IPDS and program life cycle.
Develop and recommend scheduling plans/artifacts to assist the program team.
Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis and translate results into mitigation actions.
Provide weekly/monthly planning metrics and support EVMS processes.
Mentor and train junior planners.
