Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist in InsurTech to own day-to-day partner health, drive reviews, and oversee financial reconciliation across insurance supply partnerships. You will troubleshoot cross-functional issues, monitor KPIs, and lead process improvements with automation and scalable solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years in related operations, strong data skills (Excel/Tableau), and English proficiency; a Bachelor’s degree is required with a Master’s a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in an operations, account management, program management, or analyst role in travel consumer, insurtech, fintech, consulting, or insurance environments.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; familiar with relational databases and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g. Tableau); experience with project management tools is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree or equivalent a plus.
• Proficiency in English required; additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the day-to-day operational health of assigned insurance supply partner relationships and be the primary contact for operational matters.
• Lead preparation and facilitation of regular business reviews (weekly calls, MBRs, QBRs) with synthesis of updates and action items.
• Oversee financial reconciliation workstreams including booking data, supplier payments, and invoice management with cross-team collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical, connectivity, and compliance issues across multiple teams with minimal escalation.
• Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., NPS, attach rates, claims, profitability) and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Drive SOPs, SLAs, and supplier performance dashboards with a focus on automation and scalability.
• Serve as liaison between field operations and leadership, flag risks, and summarize cross-team updates.
• Assist with licensing, reporting, and compliance across global markets; stay current on regulatory developments.
• Analyze and interpret large datasets to surface actionable insights for data-driven decisions.
