Job summary

EY is seeking a technology consultant to work with clients in the Insurance sector on technology-enabled transformation programs. You will translate business problems into actionable technology solutions, assist with architecture, data mapping, and vendor selections, and help implement robust, compliant systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with diverse teams, strong communication, and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field with 3years of relevant work experience at a Property and Casualty Insurance carrier or consulting firm; or a master’s degree ... with 2years of relevant work experience
• Previous application experience in major insurance tech products (see tools)
• Proficiency in system selection, requirements definition, architecture design, application configuration/integration, data mapping, conversion and migration
• Ability to deliver system implementation through all phases of the project life cycle, based on a proven methodology
• Experience implementing software engineering best practices, code review, and performance optimization
• Experience creating POCs and presenting alternative solutions to clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong client-facing presentation skills
• Willingness to travel to client sites

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to translate business problems into technology solutions
• Support remediation and mitigation of process risk
• Assist engagement teams with requirements analysis, architecture design, vendor selection and implementation plans
• Analyze business requirements for alignment with technology architecture and infrastructure
• Collaborate with client teams and third-party partners to implement technology solutions
