Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join EY engagement teams and deliver consulting services across life insurance transformation. You will help clients define, design, and implement target-state architectures supporting business transformation objectives using leading technologies.

In this role you will gain expertise in insurance architecture, modern platform ecosystems, cloud strategies, integration and data platforms, and the full insurance value chain from product development to claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in consulting, architecture, or technology.
• 3+ years of Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits experience.
• Experience with policy administration systems or comparable PAS platforms.
• Strong understanding of Life & Annuity value chain across product configuration, underwriting, and servicing.
• Experience delivering architecture deliverables for large-scale programs.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns, APIs, middleware, and cloud-native solutions.
• Familiarity with data migration, integration approaches, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with onshore/offshore delivery models and client-facing collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.
• Experience facilitating architecture workshops and presenting to executives.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformations.
• Develop architecture artifacts, designs, and technical specifications across policy administration, underwriting, claims, servicing, integrations, data, and reporting.
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to target-state architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and support technology recommendations and trade-offs.
• Assist with integration architecture efforts including APIs, middleware, cloud services, and system connectivity.
• Support data architecture activities including migration, reporting, analytics, and cloud data platforms.
• Participate in architecture governance, design reviews, and security/compliance.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure proper implementation and governance.
• Stay current on industry trends, cloud capabilities, and AI innovations; contribute to best practices.
