Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Business Transformation and Growth practice, delivering life insurance architecture transformations and modern platform solutions.

You will work on target-state architectures, cloud integration, data platforms, and governance, collaborating with clients and teams to drive sustainable business outcomes across product development, underwriting, servicing and claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 6+ years of consulting/architecture/technology experience.
• 3+ years of Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits experience.
• Experience delivering architecture artifacts and deliverables for large-scale transformations.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns, integration technologies, APIs, middleware, and cloud-native solutions.
• Experience working with onshore/offshore delivery models and with clients, SI's and vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformations.
• Create architecture artifacts, designs, and technical specifications across policy admin, underwriting, claims, servicing, integrations, data and reporting.
• Translate requirements into scalable technology solutions with business and technical teams.
• Contribute to target-state roadmaps and modernization strategies.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and guide option assessments and trade-off analyses.
• Support integration architecture including APIs, middleware, cloud services and system connectivity.
• Lead data architecture activities including data migration, reporting and cloud data platforms.
• Participate in architecture governance, design reviews, and compliance with standards and security.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering to ensure architecture is implemented per standards.
• Stay current on industry trends, cloud capabilities, and AI innovations to enhance practices.
