Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join engagement teams, delivering consulting services and developing business with life insurance, group benefits and retirement clients. You will work in EY's Business Transformation and Growth (BTG) practice, applying digital tools to modernize processes and create durable value.

You will lead delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and mentor junior colleagues while traveling up to 50% to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant working experience.
• 3+ years’ experience across Life/ annuity/Group benefits.
• Experience with policy administration platforms: FAST (Verisk), FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro or comparable PAS.
• Knowledge of Life & Annuity value chain (config, underwriting, policy admin, servicing, claims).
• Program/project/workstream management in onshore/offshore delivery with clients and vendors.
• Hands-on platform configuration/integration (APIs, middleware, data migration).
• Excellent business, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong writing, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with speaking to executive audiences.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of platform solutions aligned to objectives, architecture standards, and program commitments.
• Manage delivery planning, scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate platform configuration, integration, and implementation across business, tech, and vendors.
• Translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans and roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor program health and drive risk mitigation and issue resolution.
• Coordinate onshore/offshore teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Support governance forums with status updates and recommendations.
• Promote Agile/SAFe delivery, testing, release management, DevOps, and readiness.
• Mentor junior teammates and drive delivery excellence.
