Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in the United States to join engagement teams and deliver consulting services for life insurance and group benefits clients. You will help shape and implement target-state architectures, modernizing technology landscapes as part of EY's Business Transformation and Growth practice.

You will develop architecture artifacts, collaborate with business and technical teams, and contribute to roadmaps, data, and cloud strategies across policy administration,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant consulting, architecture, or technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience across Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
• Experience facilitating architecture workshops and presenting recommendations to executive and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformation initiatives.
• Develop architecture artifacts, solution designs, and technical specifications across policy administration, underwriting, claims, servicing, integrations, data, and reporting.
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
• Contribute to target-state architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and support solution option assessments, including technology recommendations and trade-off analyses.
• Assist with integration architecture efforts, including APIs, middleware, cloud services, and enterprise system connectivity.
• Support data architecture activities, including data migration, reporting, analytics, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Participate in architecture governance processes, design reviews, and compliance with enterprise standards and security requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure solution designs are effectively implemented and architectural standards are maintained.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, cloud capabilities, and AI innovations, while contributing to architecture best practices, accelerators, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
