Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join engagement teams and deliver consulting services for Life & Group Insurance transformation projects. You will shape target-state architectures, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive modernization using cloud and integration technologies.

You'll develop architecture artifacts and roadmaps, working across policy administration, underwriting, claims, and servicing, while engaging executives and clients to deliver practical business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant consulting, architecture, or technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Experience with policy administration platforms (e.g., FAST, FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro).
• Knowledge of Life & Annuity value chain: product configuration, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, claims, distribution.
• Experience delivering architecture deliverables for large transformations.
• Familiarity with architecture patterns, integration technologies, APIs, middleware, cloud-native solutions.
• Experience with onshore/offshore delivery models and client/vendor collaboration.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.
• Experience facilitating architecture workshops and presenting recommendations.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and architecture modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformations.
• Develop architecture artifacts, designs, and specifications across policy administration, underwriting, claims, servicing, integrations, data and reporting.
• Translate requirements into scalable technology solutions in collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Contribute to target-state architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and provide technology recommendations.
• Support data architecture activities including migration, reporting, and cloud data platforms.
• Participate in governance, design reviews, and adherence to enterprise standards and security.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure correct implementation.
