SiriusPoint seeks an Insurance Regulatory Counsel to provide legal and regulatory guidance ensuring compliance with state and federal insurance laws. You will report to the VP, Associate General Counsel and Head of P&L Support and collaborate with multiple departments to manage filings, licensing, and examinations.

Ideal candidates hold a JD, a U.S. bar admission, at least five years in insurance regulatory law, and strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work both

Formación

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance regulatory law.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal insurance laws.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review and analyze state insurance department statutes, regulations, and bulletins to stay current on changes.
• Provide legal advice and support on regulatory compliance matters, including subsidiary governance.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure regulatory compliance across the organization.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, including holding company and UCAA filings.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators.
• Lead efforts in preparing for market conduct exams and regulatory inquiries.
• Assist Regulatory Reporting Team on licensing and other regulatory reporting matters.
