gpac LLC. is representing a leading international law firm seeking a Senior Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join its Southern California team.

The role focuses on sophisticated liability-policy coverage matters for insurer clients domestically and internationally, with a leadership role on complex files. The ideal candidate will independently manage an active caseload, work within a collaborative team, and have access to a global platform and professional-development resources.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission required.
• 6+ years of complex insurance coverage litigation experience.
• Federal court experience required.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, organizational and verbal skills.
• Ability to independently manage an active caseload with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies, claims and coverage issues.
• Prepare coverage opinions and advise insurer clients.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery documents.
• Manage coverage litigation from initial assessment through resolution.
• Attend depositions, hearings, mediations and other proceedings.
• Prioritize and manage multiple sensitive matters and collaborate with colleagues.
