The ideal candidate is a strong writer and analytical thinker, proactive with their caseload, and capable of leading complex matters.

The role handles domestic and international insurers in sophisticated coverage disputes involving commercial general liability.

Qualifications

• Strong academic credentials.
• California admission to practice required.
• Admission in Texas, New York, Washington, or Colorado is a plus.
• Ideally 6+ years handling complex insurance coverage litigation.
• Experience with commercial general liability matters.
• Federal court experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
• Conduct complex legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and related correspondence.
• Prepare formal communications to opposing counsel and other parties.
• Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations as needed.
