Unknown law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney for its Insurance Coverage Practice Group. This hybrid role involves handling complex coverage disputes for both domestic and international insurers, with opportunities to work on high-exposure matters.

Ideal candidates hold a CA bar in good standing, a JD from an ABA-accredited school, and at least 3 years of civil litigation experience.

Qualifications

JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
3+ years of substantive civil litigation experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions, recommendations, and advice for insurer clients.
Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools.
Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
Draft and review pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents.
Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers.
Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision.
