Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in California, Washington, or another U.S. jurisdiction in good standing.
• 10+ years of insurance coverage experience (third-party coverage preferred).
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Thrives in a collaborative environment and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience mentoring, training, and developing junior attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on coverage issues under commercial lines liability and excess insurance policies.
• Draft comprehensive coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and memoranda.
• Conduct advanced legal research and analyze complex factual and legal coverage determinations.
• Collaborate with claims professionals, in-house counsel, and stakeholders on strategic coverage recommendations.
• Manage matters, deadlines, and communications with clients.
