Clyde & Co US LLP in Seattle seeks a Senior Associate or Senior Counsel to join its growing insurance coverage litigation practice. This role focuses on first- and third-party coverage analysis and defending bad faith claims while advising clients nationwide.

The successful candidate will be admitted in Washington, bring strong research and writing skills, and manage multiple complex matters with a collaborative, client-focused approach. Hybrid work and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
• Experience in insurance coverage and coverage litigation or commercial litigation with interest in insurance coverage work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients.
• Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
• Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage litigation.
• Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Take a proactive role in managing matters, deadlines, and communication with clients.
