Clyde & Co seeks a highly motivated, bright attorney with ideally 6+ years of experience in complex insurance coverage litigation matters. We are looking for an excellent writer who is driven, proactive, and able to act independently, taking on leadership responsibilities for their cases.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice and recommendations to clients;
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda;
• Draft and review pleadings, memoranda, briefs, discovery materials, motions with supporting briefs, and other legal correspondence;
• Prepare formal correspondence to opposing counsel and other parties;
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.

Education and Experience

• Excellent academic credentials;
• Admitted to practice in California;
• Admitted to other states (particularly TX, NY, WA, or CO) is an asset;
• Ideally 6+ years of experience in complex insurance coverage litigation matters;
• Experience in commercial general liability;
• Federal court experience.

Attorney compensation for this position ranges from $200,000 to $225,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, practice group, location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
