Clyde & Co US LLP seeks a highly motivated attorney with 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation to represent insurers across fidelity, D&O, employment, professional, property and CGL policies. The role is positioned in Seattle, WA, within a busy, fast-paced team dedicated to complex insurance matters.

The attorney will draft coverage opinions, perform legal research, prepare pleadings and briefs, and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in Washington, California, or Hawaii; additional bars a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies and draft coverage opinions.
• Conduct legal research, draft memoranda and pleadings.
• Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs in coverage matters.
• Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations; manage deadlines and communications.
