Job summary

Our client Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to serve as the liaison between business units and IT, translating needs into requirements for technology solutions in the insurance claims domain. Experience with Guidewire Claims Center highly desired.

This contract-to-hire opportunity offers W2 employment with benefits and a path to full-time employment, remote work, and competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business analysis experience.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience in insurance domain is a plus.
• Strong writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, and document business and user requirements.
• Facilitate meetings with IT and business unit management and staff.
• Understand the business domain, processes, systems, data, and linkages to create project deliverables.
• Participate in or lead business process analysis to identify requirements.
• Partner with test teams to prepare testing strategies and execution plans, ensuring test cases map to requirements.
• Provide guidance for reporting documentation and how-to requirements.
• Participate in Business Analysis Center of Excellence activities and adhere to best practices.
• Engage in all project lifecycle phases to ensure business requirements are understood, documented, and met.
• Define or refine business needs for new or enhanced products, services, or optimized processes.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and consult to understand goals and objectives.
