Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a remote contract-to-hire engagement in the insurance/claims domain. The role requires translating business needs into clear requirements and coordinating with IT to deliver effective technology solutions.

Experience with Guidewire Claims Center is highly desired. You will elicit requirements, facilitate meetings, map requirements to test plans, and guide documentation.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of business analysis experience supporting medium-sized initiatives.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Experience eliciting requirements and collaborative facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, and document business and user requirements.
• Facilitate meetings with IT and business unit management and staff.
• Understand the business domain, processes, systems, data, and linkages to create deliverables.
• Participate in or lead business process analysis to identify requirements.
• Partner with test teams to prepare testing strategies and execution plans.
• Provide guidance for reporting documentation and how-to requirements.
• Participate in Business Analysis Center of Excellence activities and adhere to best practices.
• Engage in all project lifecycle phases to ensure requirements are understood, documented, and met.
• Define or refine business needs for new or enhanced products, services, or optimized processes.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and consult to understand goals and objectives.
