Motion Recruitment Partners in the United States is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the technology team and lead complex business systems initiatives. You will translate business needs into technical and functional requirements across business and IT teams.

The role emphasizes requirements analysis, Agile delivery, SQL, UAT, process mapping, data analysis, and SDLC practices, with insurance industry experience valued for cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Strong requirements gathering, decomposition, and documentation experience.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and prioritization.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Experience supporting UAT and working with QA/testing teams.
• Experience with SQL queries and data analysis.
• Strong process mapping, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently lead projects and facilitate stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis across multiple teams to translate business needs into specifications.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and ensure alignment on priorities.
• Support Agile/Scrum delivery and oversee SDLC adherence.
• Coordinate UAT, testing, and validation activities with QA teams.
• Collaborate with data engineers and development teams on solutions.
