Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate P&C product decisions into systems that function as intended. You’ll own requirements across product, actuarial, underwriting, compliance, claims, operations, and engineering, shaping how Kin brings products to homeowners across states.

You will sit in the Project Management Office, guiding state launches, forms, endorsements, and rating updates, ensuring clear, implementable requirements and successful deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role, including 3+ years in P&C insurance.
• Experience translating insurance concepts into structured requirements for engineering.

Responsabilités

• Own requirements lifecycle from discovery to handoff to Engineering.
• Translate product decisions into clear requirements and specs.
• Collaborate across Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Ops, Tech Product, and Engineering.
• Document current and future state workflows; manage changes during delivery.
• Identify gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and compliance needs before development.
• Build user stories, data mappings, and acceptance criteria with traceability.
• Lead clarifications during development and be the primary contact for requirements questions.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and beta validation before release.
• Drive launch readiness with process docs, checklists, and templates.
