Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client-facing support within a remote-friendly setup. The role collaborates with Account Managers, Producers, and the account team to ensure accurate renewals, submissions, and policy management while upholding service standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of insurance customer service experience, knowledge of brokerage processes, and a CISR-preferred licensing path.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing is required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, bind coverage, and follow up for issuance.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and manage collections.
