Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team and producers. You will help manage renewals, endorsements, and client inquiries while ensuring accuracy and prompt service across assigned accounts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing (CISR preferred), strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing with CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: research, submissions, bind coverage, and follow up for issuance.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Keep workload status and issues communicated with the team.
• Deliver proactive service and uphold IOA values.
