Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts. You will work under the guidance of an Account Manager and assist in ensuring accurate renewals, coverage submissions, and timely service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, hold an active license, and possess strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active insurance license; CISR certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: research, submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals, binding.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor and maintain activity/suspense and timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactive support.
• Stay updated on company policies.
• Seek continuous improvement and best practices.
• Champion IOA values with integrity and leadership.
