Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team with administrative tasks, client service, and renewal activity. The role reports to an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer and focuses on maintaining accuracy and timely processing for various client accounts.

The position emphasizes policy management, endorsements, submissions, contract review, and proactive communication to ensure high service levels while upholding IOA

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, issued documents, invoices, and editorials.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing, present proposals, bind coverage.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with accurate data.
• Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain frequent communication with the account team regarding workload and issues.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively anticipate needs.
