Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager or Producer. The role focuses on policy management, renewals, and servicing small to mid-size accounts, with a remote/hybrid work arrangement and occasional on-site needs.

You will handle endorsements, loss runs, invoicing, proposals, and contract reviews; maintain agency systems; monitor activity

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related policy actions
• Support new and renewal business with submissions, coverages, pricing, and proposals
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion
• Communicate workload status with the account team
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate needs
• Stay updated on company policies
• Seek best practices to improve performance
