Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to support the account team, Producer, and assigned client groups. This role emphasizes service excellence, policy management, and timely issue resolution.

You will work under supervision, help renewals, endorsements, and billing, while maintaining data accuracy in agency systems and delivering proactive client support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, lost policy releases, invoices, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: client research, underwriting information, loss run analysis, proposals, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team; deliver proactive service.
• Stay updated on company policies and seek improvement opportunities.
• Champion IOA values with integrity and leadership.
