Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team and ensure high service quality across client accounts. This role involves processing endorsements, renewals, and policy changes, while assisting with proposals and loss runs to secure favorable coverages.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing (CISR preferred), and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, and policy changes.
• Assist with submissions, negotiations, and proposals for coverages and pricing.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist in collections.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms for accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and uphold policy compliance.
• Support continuous improvement and uphold IOA values.
