Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Technician to support operation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems in the Facilities Management department. You will help maintain safe, reliable environments for patients, visitors, and staff at the Texas Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Eight years electronic, building automated systems and pneumatic controls experience to include two years of electrical experience.
• Six years electronic, building automated systems and pneumatic controls experience to include one year of electrical experience with Journeyman Electrician's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer calls and emergency requests.
• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot live circuits and control enclosures; install, troubleshoot and repair 120/208/240/480V controls and equipment per NEC.
• Read, interpret, and coordinate electrical, pneumatic, HVAC schematics and control sequences; supervise technicians and coordinate vendor work.
• Document corrective actions, labor hours, and materials; assist in process improvements and reports.
