Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Senior HVAC Mechanic to maintain and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems across the campus. The role includes mentoring staff, coordinating PM activities, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of critical facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, overseeing repairs, and ensuring documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Eight years experience in a mechanical field including HVAC, refrigeration, or related systems.
• TDLR certification or HVAC/UAC licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment.
• Lead and mentor technicians and coordinate PM activities.
• Respond to emergencies and service calls.
• Document work orders, timesheets, and materials used.
