Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least two years of experience as an instrument processor or Surgical Technologist.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire, or must obtain within 6 months.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Tecsys and Censitrac tracking systems; ability to learn software/hardware as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing to facilitate case flow.
• Lead instrument tray assembly, decontamination, and sterilization/high-level disinfection of reprocessed inventory.
• Serve as clinical liaison between ORs and CSS offsite locations; procure and standardize instrument trays across the Enterprise.
