Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Coordinator - East to oversee, sterilize and deliver instrument sets for surgeries across the Enterprise. You will coordinate daily activities between the Operating Room and Central Sterile Supply, ensuring aseptic reprocessing and efficient case flow.

This role requires coordinating loaner trays and driving process improvements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of instrument processing or surgical tech experience preferred.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required within 6 months of hire or upon hire if already certified.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between Operating Room and Sterile Processing to optimize case flow.
• Oversee case cart assembly, decontamination, sterilization and high-level disinfection of reprocessed inventory.
• Serve as clinical liaison to allocate sterilized instrumentation across the Enterprise.
• Organize, procure and standardize instrument trays on a global level for the enterprise.
