Job summary
Ashland in Calvert City, KY is hiring a Reliability Instrument / PM Engineer to join the Maintenance & Reliability team. The role is highly visible and focuses on instrumentation, PM programs, and plant reliability.
The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, 10+ years in a chemical process plant, and deep experience with instrumentation, calibration, and CMMS systems. You will lead improvements, ensure compliance with SOX, and collaborate with craft teams to optimize
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in a chemical process plant with at least 5 years in Equipment Reliability.
- Familiarity with instrumentation used to measure/command flow, temp, pressure, level and analytical properties.
Responsibilities
- Review compliance of ITPM/PdM activities with standards and procedures.
- Manage PMs and calibrations for instrumentation in storage vessels per SOX requirements.
- Provide technical support to instrumentation improvement projects and engineering drawings/specifications.
- Develop and update maintenance procedures and calibration frequencies; document in CMMS.
- Evaluate new instrumentation technologies and coordinate with contractors on inspections.
