Job summary

Ashland LLC is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer for our Calvert City, Kentucky plant to lead operations within the Specialty Chemicals Production function.

You will oversee production metrics, drive process improvements, and work with operators, engineers, and management to optimize yields and cost performance. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with strong PSM and change management expertise.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Management of Change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production metrics for assigned units.
• Develop and review safety, environmental, and quality measures.
• Collaborate with site staff to set annual departmental goals.
• Perform process optimization to maximize quality and minimize costs.
• Lead capital projects within budget and cost-control guidelines.
• Coordinate with R&D for new products and qualification/validation.
