Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Supervisor for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. You will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders, coordinating subcontractor management staff to ensure work aligns with established schedules.

Your role emphasizes field supervision to ensure safe execution, adherence to drawings, specifications, and Bechtel core processes while interfacing with design to address

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and directs subcontractor activities through coordination and instruction of subcontractors' management staff within the area of responsibility.
• Reviews construction schedules, resource charts, and material/equipment requirements.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material/equipment requirements.
• Leads construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure alignment with schedules.
• Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinates engineering solutions with subcontractors, foremen and craft professionals.
• Coordinates with design on constructability issues.
