Job summary

HF Sinclair in Tulsa, OK seeks an Engineer IV E&I with a strong background in instrumentation and control systems. You will design, configure, and troubleshoot DCS and safety instrumented systems, develop instrument and control work packages, and support reliability across operations.

Responsibilities include analyzing instrumentation data, upgrading and maintaining equipment, and preparing project scopes and AFEs for approval. Travel up to 10% domestically may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation/Controls or related field plus 5 years in Engineer IV E&I-related occupation.
• Experience with instrumentation, DCS, and safety instrumented systems; able to develop work packages (P&IDs, logic diagrams).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and guidance for instrumentation reliability across units.
• Analyze instrumentation data to support operational decisions.
• Design, configure, and maintain instrumentation equipment and performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and AFEs for approval.
• Stay current with instrumentation technologies and industry innovations.
