Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Sr. Instrument Technician in Juncos, PR for a full-time, on-site role. You will calibrate, repair, install, and troubleshoot instrumentation and process control systems in manufacturing and analytical labs, while maintaining cGMP compliance and documentation.

Responsibilities include loop checks, SOP development, training, and on-call support. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, or non-standard shifts with possible overtime. Expected starting date October 2026.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree plus instrument work or military experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 2 years instrument work or military experience.
• GxP documentation and calibration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
• Maintain an up-to-date spare parts inventory for the equipment/systems.
• Ensure calibration paperwork and instrument files are completed accurately.
• Evaluate calibration cycles and optimize the program.
• Develop and maintain a training program for the team.
